IMO Soto hasn't fought anybody who could give him a fight since he lost to Guzman nearly three years ago. Chavez was 37 and long-since shot. Diaz is an extremely limited fighter who would get butchered by any of the top guys. The rest of Soto's opponents have been patsies

Soto is boring to watch. Soto-Diaz was one of the most boring fights i have ever seen live. I will never watch him fight again

He will fight Peterson by the end of July. He just wants to defend his title in the interimg in his hometown. There is no ducking involved.
