    Debate on Cuts in Fights.

My suggestion was that if you don't see bone, you let it go. I was also wondering if their is a culture difference. Say in the US, do they allow fights go on a little to long (most of the time) compared to other countries?

Now these are some MMA fights to start

    Stopped...Yes, No?

    Yes, No?

For Boxing, Valero's last fight popped in my head and of course Vitali.

I thought Valero's cut was good to go but Vitali's....eh...not sure...although they said they saw bone and that's why they stopped it. And I still think it was his own corner (with the advice from his brother) that ended up stopping the fight more so than anyone else. Of course, Vitali went nuts and was ready to kill the people that tried to stop the fight which was cool.

So what's your thoughts on cuts?

And do you feel in the States they let fights go on to long?

in the UK premature stoppages are the norm, but thats when someone is taking too much punishment, not about cuts. However, if the ref calls the doc over about a cut, u usually know whats gonna happen, the 1st time they let him continue, and if the doc is called over again its gonna be stopped.

As far as i am concerned, if the cut isnt affecting him (as in making him blind due to blood running into his eyes) it should be allowed to continue.
