They said Tyson and Michael Jackson were broke too and went through the same ****, but Tyson lives in a house that costs over 100k/month.

Jackson paid 600k monthly rent and over 100k for his personal doctor that killed him so it's obvious broke to them isn't broke to us.

I'm sure he has stacks of cash somewhere, I wouldn't worry about him.
Tyson isn't broke. Well, he's broke in comparison to what he used to have, but he still gets money off of name recognition alone. I'm sure he pulls in 6 figures a year, if not 7 figures. People on the whole seem very sympathetic to Tyson for some reason.

    I would hope he isn't paying 100k a month for a house though because that's just ******.

But yeah, I'd like to make a bid on some of Hearns's boxing gear.

WOW. I'm shocked, how could someone like this guy who earned millions during his career go broke? Why didn't he invest his money somewhere? Some of these boxers don't know how to handle their money.

          Three things:

1 - I've always meant to find out exactly what they mean when they call a celebrity "broke," because it's clearly not what it means for the rest of the world. Are they "broke" when they're down to their last million?

2- Some of the things listed in that "auction" seem just too strange. AA batteries? Christmas stockings emblazoned with the name Bob?? I can't imagine Hearns auctioning off some of that stuff, no matter how "broke" he might be...especially if he's still rocking a Bentley.

3- As sad as the subject is, many of the comments under the "auction" listing are just freaking hilarious.

Wow, dude. Harsh...but true, especially the highlighted part.

This is why Floyd says f### the fans, and honestly, I can't blame him.In the best of circumstances, Hearns couldn't handle that much money, and with brain damage and I'm sure entourages, even more so. But the best "Fans" of his right now are buying his video games, while others are saying tough, and moving on the the next one.

If you see the way this guy lives, I dont think he's really going broke as some of you are thinking... Hes selling stuff to get money so he will without a doubt not have to ever work for a damn dime again in his life, and also, his son Ronald will one day see those big paydays of boxing, hes pro right now making a little bit of cash... The Hearns are still wealthy... Take it from someone who lives in Detroit that sees them at every boxing event in Detroit
