Former two-time EBU heavyweight champ Anders "Tiny" Eklund have passed away at the age of 52 in Uppsala, Sweden, Eklundīs death appears to be related to a heart condition. He also suffered from diabetes. Eklund, 6'6 and with a best weight of around 240 lbs, quickly became an amateur star in Sweden but also developed a strained relation with media that over the years would see him a number of times go from almost-heavyweight champion-of-the world to not worth-a-dime in the papers.
