Thats like saying Tito got lucky ginst Vargas. Two men stood toe to toe and the tougher man won.

....actually no, Tito was winning the fight against Vargas but it is already known Ortiz is the better boxer and has power to hurt Maidana if he doesn't fight Maidana's fight, I see Ortiz KOing Maidana.

What a bunch of bull****, it was clear to anyone who isn't ******ed that Ortiz quit he even said in in his post fight interview. As for the brother situation if he can't even get over that he doesn't have ny business in professional boxing.

As a big Maidana fan i have to say if there was a rematch and Ortiz did just box he would have a huge shot of a comfortable ud but insaying that i do feel Maidanas pressure would pay off and he would catch Ortiz late on and finish him but the people saying Ortiz quit are obviously full a **** the balls it takes to step in the ring is unreal never mind taking unbelievable punishment

Ortiz has the skills to beat Maidana, but he can't get suckerd into a sluggfest again.

Ortiz has yet to prove anything after that loss, his only two fights have been against 33-years old Antonio Diaz and a guy named Hector Alatorre that lost six straight between 2007 and 2009. A victory over Victor Cayo is better than both of those wins, Maidana has no reason to pursue a rematch. Ortiz should be the one calling him out on a daily basis, he was the one to quit during that fight. That is if he can beat an old and blown-up Nate Campbell before.

Co-Sign, but apparently we have his handlers, managers and promoters in this thread stating that they tried to get a rematch 3 times with Maidana.....i still havent heard Ortiz say it and if there was a rematch offered, how much did they offer Maidana? Was it worth it in terms of $$$, if i remember correctly, Maidana made lil Kansas boy quit right? I need a link or something
