Froch is an exciting, honest fighter. He's unorthodox, easy to hit,but he has good power and comes right after fighters and as a boxing fan thats what I want to see. He deserves respect imo. How many fighters would make there first defense 6000 miles away in a packed house in the opponents back yard? There seems to be a lot of sour g****s about the way his two fights against US opposition went. The first one he desrves a ton of credit for for keeping going right to the end,and he aint a judge but the way a lot of people talk about him post Dirrell, you would think he was!

I think AA is possibly the easiest fight for him in this tourney. AA is slower than Froch and can look just as clumsy at times. They seem to be cut from a similar cloth. Both can punch, both have great chins, both always come to fight rather than box. Froch is naturally the bigger man.

Would Froch win? I dunno, but I like both fighters and their fight is a stick on for the most exciting fight of the super six.
Im one of those that has criticised Froch recently, but its more his attuitude.

I give him credit for his heart and that he keeps going forward and looking for the KO, but i dont think he has the ability to box and be elusive. Against Dirrell he looked very plain and one dimensional.

AA vs Froch should be great. But i think if Froch is easy to hit and AA at least blocks shots, id give it to AA.

I dont see why anyone would think Froch has a better chin. Froch has been knocked down and hurt, whereas AA seemed to be off balance against Dirrell.

Froch's power and chin are over-rated slightly, and pale notably when compared to AA; who is p4p the hardest puncher atm and has one of the best chins in the sport.

I can't see Froch surviving Abraham.

He certainly isnt short of self belief! lol. Its easy to see why he rubs people up the wrong way,but thats just how he gets through I guess with an unshakeable self belief. Its hard to say who has the better chin, sure Froch has been knocked down and hurt, but as you pointed out,AA blocks a lot and doesnt get hit clean often whereas froch spends entire fights getting hit clean! I think he was shaken up quite badly on the Dirrell knock down,he looked shaky and wide eyed in his corner at the end of the round.

Its possible that AA could get hit more in this fight,as my gut feeling tells me this is gonna be a shoot out. I am so excited about this fight,it could well define the phrase 'styles make fights'.

I'm not positive how this one will end up but I think i'll give it to Froch because of the reach advantage. I'm not sure who has the greater chin but Froch's knees buckled when he took a shot from dirrell and while AA was dropped once it was an off balance shot and I never saw him really wobbled soooo... iono lol. But Froch is my pic.

AA looked more shocked that he was put down than really hurt to me.

I cant see Froch playing it smart and trying to box more. He criticized Dirrell and Khan for their styles of not meeting fire with fire and being defensive, so i guess he has to take shots to land shots on AA which i think will be foolish.

frochs power is just above average, he just punches with his muscles tightened which will leave him heavy handed instead of like the average person that will only tighten the arm on the last milli seconds before impact so as not to sacrifice speed
as for his chin, it's pretty good, but i would'nt go as far as say better or as solid as abrahams
