Froch may be Europe's only hope

Seriously. No, I am not kidding. Let's asses this properly:

Kessler will be dominated by Dirrell should they fight. Abraham was dominated by Dirrell.

Ward beat Kessler (not dominated, dirty fighting played a part). And Ward would, simply put, out maneuvere and rough up Abraham. I'd put money on that.

Froch has already beaten Dirrell (Dirrell didn't do enough to win, that's the bottom line). And Froch will give as good as he gets with Ward's dirty in fighting. Froch hits while holding and on the break + he'll gladly take a smack to throw a smack.

The irony here is Kessler and Abraham could put Froch out of the tournament although I doubt Froch loses to Abraham. Kessler maybe, its 50/50 for that one imo.

I disagree about Dirrell dominating Kessler. They're both good outside fighters who don't like to fight on the inside, so I could see a competitive boxing match. I think Kessler would have an easier time finding Dirrell then both Froch and Abraham as he throws really quick, straight punches and is about the same size in terms of height and reach.

However, I really can't see Froch or Abraham beating Ward and we already saw what happened in the Kessler fight.

If that's the case then Europe's in trouble.

dirrell's more elusive than ward. if kessler didnt have success vs ward, then he wont have success vs dirrell.

Andre Ward would dominate him and in a rematch Dirrell would learn from his mistakes and beat him again.

I think Ward and Abraham have the best chance in winning this tourney.
