Sorry but Pavlik looked garbage both times he ventured north of 160, one of those against a guy he'd already sparked out. I'd favor anyone in the super 6 to beat him, except maybe Green.

excellent point but dont forget pavlik is 6 foot 1 with a long reach and great power in both hands, goes to the body well also. look what dirrel did to him. also take into account the ring rust had on pavlik, not excuse , but reason.
you think a non fundamental, uncoordinated unathletic froch could be pavlik?

He was in trouble in his previous 2 fights...
Taylor floored him and stunned him (and would have outpointed him),Dirrell stunned him 2 times(and plenty of people believe that Dirrell won).
Abraham hits harder than both of these guys.They will both be in front of one another and trading at some point.
If we made the comparison of both fighters that fought similar opponents,then we will see that Taylor never once was able to hurt Abraham (yet he staggered and knocked Froch down),and though Dirrell knocked down Abraham 2 times-he was still not hurt (yet Dirrell had enough power to hurt Froch a few times).

Now styles make fights,They both never strayed away from their styles against different styles-they handle every fighter the same way.Both fighters do not look for a points win-they look for the stoppage as a result.I believe Abraham has more power and a better punch resistance,as well as defense and slightly faster hands.
By the later rounds in fights,Carl doesn't seem as powerful in contrast to Abraham-I believe Arthur paces himself better and maintains his power throughout.
Unless Carl has learned to box and has learned to use lateral movement-he will always be in reach of Abraham with his arms down....there is no other way to place my money apart from an Abraham win,most likely by stoppage (and if by some weird reason it was going to the score-cards,I would say it is possible for Abraham to look more effective in the rounds due to Carl's lack of defense).

I watch both of those fight's with Froch vs Taylor and Dirrell never not once did I see Froch hurt.In the Taylor fight he was drop not hurt.In the dirrell fight he got caught by a good punch but this also happen to AA No?And AA was drop by Dirrell twice.I see were you are coming from with style's.Thing is AA make's his opponent push them self's throwing alot of punches while moving.Froch won't be doing that but he will be punching.What fight did you see Froch tire out in?I'm not saying he is a sure shot to win but you say AA is does not make any sense to me?I just disproved everything you said about Froch because none of it was true.I never seen him or AA really hurt I never seen neither one of umm really tired.I know they both have power punches I see it as pretty even.Oh and against the same opponent's AA look better vs Taylor although Froch's win was more exciting No?Dirrell Froch look better then AA No?

AA can be outworked and if dirrell is splitting AA's high guard, then so can froch. that said, froch can't box for **** and his foot speed is garbage. it will be a fun brawl.

i saw a shot taylor buzz him more than a few times and even knocked him down, if taylor wasnt shot he would have finished him, but at that physical point in his career not only was his killer instinct gone, but his physical ability to do it was too.

Me and you usually agree but not this time.I seen Taylor catch Froch off guard and floor him not hurt him there is a difference.I felt Taylor was winning on point's but he just gave you that uneasy feeling like he was ready to catch a bad one that don't happen without a good dance partner.Pav IMHO would not beat Froch I don't think Pav would beat anybody at 168lb sorry.Taylor hurt Pav he did not hurt Froch.That was the difference i was telling you about.I agree tho Dirrell did do a great boxing job on AA.

well to me "buzz" and "hurt" are two different things. i feel if you get buzzed it catches your attention and lets you know you are close to being in trouble and "hurt" is when you are in the beginning stages of being in trouble.

pavlik at least has boxing and athletic ability, froch has none. god bless froch for being courageous and a fighter, but pavlik would hurt him, he is a devestating puncher. pavlik could even out box froch.
i think AA has been exploited in the fact that he does not make boxing adjustments, stepping on the gas throwing looping missing punches chasing a guy who is beating you 10 rounds to 1 is not an adjustment.

no bud , i mean he boxed great against AA not Frock, he ran to much in that fight.And i agree it would of ben great to see if Dirrell would of lasted the last 4 mins. I was at that fight and it was alot scaryer watching it live then on tv.FUNK OUt

Once again Pav has shown he is not affective above 160.In his rematch with Taylor he narrowly got the decision No?He got his ass handed to him and look sluggish in both fight's No?I don't see Pav beating anybody past 160.Froch is a sneaky fighter and I believe people underestimate him and his boxing ability which is going to win him alot of fight's.
