It aint nothing about jocking lil dude. I wasn't even talking about Floyd here. I was talking about Manny because a comment that a Manny fan made. And for the record, I like Manny. So don't sit here and try to take personal shots at me, lil dude.
I don't care how easy Floyd said he would beat Manny. He still has to prove it in the ring. He was willing to do that by accepting what Manny asked of him in the negotiations. Manny accepted what he wanted, then backpedaled like a cornerback, that makes NO SENSE to me personally. He still has to PROVE that he can beat Floyd.Comment

Webb your a cool guy and I've enjoyed reading stuff you have posted in the past, however, since Pac/May negotiations began you took your fanboyism to a new level and its obvious to me any others on the site. Every day you post "Pac flip flopped OST" rhetoric but your bias prevents you from asking the real question...why was OST even an issue? It aint nothing about jocking lil dude. You say Floyd has to prove it and I agree. Manny didn't handle the OST situation well and I agree. What it boils down to is that both fighters need to prove who can win IN THE RING not on the negotiation table.
In my opinion the fight will happen, I don't think either guy was ready for March and all these games were put out to delay and hype up the rivalry. Both May and Pac needed a solid tuneup, both needed more time to train for the other, both wanted a bigger, more epic fight and I just pray thats what we get.Comment

I just wanna see how Pac looks when he's angry!..apparently he's pretty upset with the PED accusations..and he couldn't even keep a straight face against Clottey (which was hilarious)...and we ALL know Mayweather is gonna try and push his buttons..this will be some nice press conferences!Comment

Fanboyism? Dude stop it. Everyday I post "Pac flip flopped on OST" because that is just what he did. I paid VERY close attention to the part of negotiations that were released to the public. Then you ask, why was it an issue? Obviously Floyd and his team thought that Manny was on something. But I think the bigger issue didn't stem from Floyd asking. Things took a turn for the worst and blew up when Roach said they would take and pass any test and they agreed to do the random testing. Then the rest of the negotiation they made excuse after excuse why NOT to do what they initially agreed to. Then they tried to dictate WHEN they would take a RANDOM drug test. All of that defeats the purpose. And I have never stated Manny was on roids or something illegal, I criticized him for agreeing then backtracking.Webb your a cool guy and I've enjoyed reading stuff you have posted in the past, however, since Pac/May negotiations began you took your fanboyism to a new level and its obvious to me any others on the site. Agreed 100%.
Here is where I disagree with you. I feel that Manny wasn't ready because even after the Cotto fight, Roach hinted that they wanted to take another fight first then fight Mayweather later in the year because Roach said he needed more time to prepare for Floyd. Not only that, but Roach just said not too long ago that he was "almost" done with the fight plan for Mayweather. With those statements, I can see that March was a bit too early for Roach to get Manny ready. I also remember reading a quote from Shawn Porter's dad I believe and he stated Team Pac needed more time to prepare for Mayweather. In my opinion the fight will happen, I don't think either guy was ready for March and all these games were put out to delay and hype up the rivalry. .
I find it ironic you feel its necessary to post about Pac flip-flopping on the OST issue everyday...on a thread about Pac fans that are obsessed with talking about Mayweather.
Wait, Floyd said he doesn't think Pac's on OST, he's just trying to clean up the sport. So which one is it? He's trying to clean things up or he, like his dad/uncle, think he's a juicer? Your right, Pac tried to dictate a bit of the testing procedure, however, Floyd was trying to dictate ALL of it. Fact of the matter is Pac did give in quite a bit going from no additional testing to OST up to 24 days of the fight. Sure it didn't go smoothly but then again we don't really know whats going on in either guys head and behind closed doors.Comment
