yeah it was on free to air here in NZ. He looked pretty good considering Friday never really came to fight. Friday used his height and great foot movement to stay away from Tua for a lot of the fight which would have been okay if he had been throwing punches. Tua came out aggressive then settled into the old stalking routine that he has always used. He landed some ripping rights to the body throughout the fight and they seemed to back Friday off but he never looked hurt. A few left hooks landed but again Friday took them well and continued to move around pot shotting maybe 5 shots per round. Tua got frustrated in the late rounds with Friday's tactics and slowed down a bit but in the 11th and 12th stepped it up but only for Friday to move some more and not throw enough. I gave Friday 1 round and 1 round even. Tua looked like he could go another 6 rounds which was a good sign and if you look at Friday's record it's not surprising Tua didnt KO him.

Oh and i just heard on local radio what the two did after the fight. Friday went to hospital for stitches in his mouth and a broken nose. David went to Burger King.

He beat the **** out of a guy who didn't come to fight but to survive. Its funny how when Tua wins by decision its the end of the world by some people. Like Vitali didn't just go the distant with Kevin Johnson... It happens, some boxers rather go out and put on a boring performance and not even seriously try to win.

Ahunanya was nowhere near as bad as clottey or Johnson, Ahunanya landed some good clean shots, he just fought dfefensivley, but he wasnt running like a coward or anything.

                Tua looked average for mine

he didn't "beat the ****" out of Firsay, he outworked him, and got tagged a few times for his efforts, Bob Sheridan predicted a 1st round Ko for Tua, that was the expectation, to blast friday out of there early, instead he barely hurt the guy at all.

Friday could of won the fight with 15% more output imo.

Friday looked like poop to me, I could only give him one round. And 1 round out 12 rounds is not a good fight. And the reason he didn't do your more punch output is because the more he let his hands go, the better chance he'd take punishment and possibly even KO'd.

These fighters are afraid to let their hands go because they know the person infront of them can hurt them.

Friday is an almost 40 year old guy, who turned up purely for the payday, he looked like a condemned man walking to the ring, then seemed to realise Tua wasn't as scary as he thought.

Friday was not there to win, he was there to get ktfo, thats what he expected.
