    Barrera destoyed hammed whole career

Just looking back on that fight and seeing marco wipe this guys face with his ass is some kinda site...the hype machine hammed had steamed rolled everyone he had faced with his unusual stlye of fighting until he faced the baby faced assassin... No magic carpet ride to the ring could help hammed for this fight along with his cornerman e. Steward ... Now u got to give hammed credit for all of his accomplishments in the ring but, after the barrera fight he seemed to mentally say fck it... It,s ashame that he stopped fighting because he had what people like and that,s excitement and people really enjoy that... Both of these guy,s are some of my favorite fighters but, who elses thinks barrera put a end to hammed,s career???

Hameds ego and reluctance to put the gym work in destroyed Hameds career.

          not really.

hamed was already on the downside of his prime when he met barrera.

hamed didn't take care of himself and drank and partied too much.

plus emmanuel steward messed around with his style too much.

the combination of his lifestyle outside the ring and bad matchup with his trainer contributed to his slow decline even before the barrera fight.

That's what happens when you start thinking you're the **** and don't train and condition yourself like always. Hamed had his head up his own ass and that's the reason he lost.

Why would there be a rematch when he got outclassed?

Yeah I don't get it either .... Hamed publicly stated that he was having too many problem with his hands to continue boxing after the Barrera fight.

Even if the Barrera loss was that devastating ... Hamed still had a career others only dream about.

Hamed got a lesson against Barrera and never had the desire to step up to that level (ATG) again. Maybe earlier in his career before he split with Ingle he might have given a better account of himself but by then he'd decided that his ring entrance was more important than the fight. Highly amusing when he lost after making Barrera wait around all night.
