I quite like Froch, he is a pretty funny guy and he comes to fight.
I give Froch a pretty good chance against Kessler.
Stylistically he is a much better matchup for Kessler than Ward was because he comes forward, hasn't got the best defense, etc.
What he does bring against Kessler though is power, strength, good chin, good workrate, alot of heart and he can fight dirty. The fighting dirty part is interesting because in the past Kessler has shown to be frustrated with dirty tactics. Maybe Froch can use them to his advantage and throw Kessler off his gameplan. Kessler isn't that hard to hit also, If Froch can land that right hand enough, he might be able to get Kessler out of there.
Stylistically though, you have to favor Kessler. Kessler has proven himself against pressure fighters. His two losses came against guys who knew how to box (Ward) and a fighter with too much workrate to match (Calzaghe).
I don't like Froch's chances against Abraham. Abrahams a very big puncher and has a tight defense. He can be outworked but Froch doesn't have the footwork or head movement to avoid Abrahams explosive bursts. Froch has been hurt in the past also, against Dirrell and Taylor.
Froch gets stopped imo.

I think Frochs best punches to use in that fight are the uppercut and the left hook. Froch defensive is also much better than people here think. Abraham will have a lot of trouble landing the jab and right hook on Froch.
Kessler can deal with pressure but he has been overwhelmed with pressure and workrate before ( Calzaghe). Froch needs to keep up a steady workrate and on the inside, rough Kessler up. If Froch fights like that, he can win.
Froch is better defensively than what he gets credit for, but imo he isn't good enough defensively to stop all of Abrahams bursts. Abraham can take you out with one shot.

Do you think his, jab, straight right combo would work against Kessler?
Froch has a chin of granite, even if he gets hurt, he will never stop, Froch is just as heavyhanded as Abraham imo
I do think his jab right hand combo will work. Kessler isn't very hard to hit.
Froch hasn't got a granite chin imo but it is very good.
Abraham has one punch knockout power where Froch needs to accumulate punishment to score knockouts. Froch is a good puncher though, the second best in the tourney imo.
