Beating someone and "beating" someone are different things.

Don't think Byrd won a round before Vitali retired. I would envisage Ike versus a Klitschko as turning out a bit like Lewis verus Tua.

Ike Ibaebuchi had real talent no doubt but he was a headcase, it is possible that he could beat either but it depends on when he fought them because his mental instabilty would cost him more as his career would have went on.

Also if he was able to stay outof trouble that long there is no guerentee when he would actually snap, it is probably better for boxing that he got sent away before anyone knew who he was.

I was a big fan of Ike but dude is certified insane, I don't care what kind of fighting machine he was that was going to catch up with him.

Tua got the short end of the stick in that fight, Ike has become like a fairy tale to boxing fans. Everything said about him is positive but the fact remains the guy could have been great but was a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

tua was able to land massive bombs on ike with a huge height , reach and size disadvantage.

the klits are better skilled , taller , longer and bigger than ike.

ike would have no more than a puncher's chance against wlad. vitali would have a much easier time against him.
