If it happened now? I dunno. Calzaghe hasn't really fought in a while, he's old, and I don't think he's been training.

If it happened 6 months after Hopkins Calzaghe would probably win a UD.

If it happened after JC beat BH, JC would have outpointed Froch.
If JC fought Froch now, JC would get beaten probably.
JC lands volumes of punches and Froch try lands power punches like Lacy. I think JC would pitter patter froch all night.

But JC didnt want to prove what people might believe would happen. Living up to expectations can be pressure.

If it had happened when Joe was an active fighter and even towards the end...Joe pistol whips him to a UD. As of now...who knows. I wouldn't be surprised though if Joe could whip himself back into shape and still win. It would be a tougher fight for Joe at this point because inactivity is a ***** and you shouldn't favor an inactive fighter...but...the hell with it...I still would favor Joe if he had enough time to train.

Drugs are bad for the body though. Hopefully he can clean himself up.

Prime for Prime, it's a close one, Froch likely loses, although he's fighting better fighters in his first 20-30 fights than Joe has his whole career.

Anyone who thinks Froch can beat Calzaghe is delusional...Styles make fights and Calzaghe would dominate Froch IMO based on their styles.

Calzaghe at 168 beats Dirrell, Abraham, Taylor and Green.

The fight with Abraham is 60-40 in favour of Calzaghe because Abraham has a punchers chance and is a counter puncher, and Calzaghe hasn't faced anyone who hits as hard as Arthur Abraham with technique.

However I see Calzaghe losing to Dawson, Ward and Bute.
