If so.. I hope this will benefit Cotto in someway. I don't think it won't but his defense against uppercuts will probably be a lil more better.

Will see if it does benefit him when he fights Yuri. Cotto has taken tons of punishment in his career though, so I really don't know whats left of Cotto. He took a bit of punishment in Judah, Mosley, Margacheato, and Pacquiao. He went through 4 wars and they were all close to each other in time period.

If you're a Cotto fan, you probably should want him fighting similar to Wlad for his health-sake. He has been in way too many wars to be getting hit as much as he has in the past. I don't know how a Wlad style would work for Cotto since his arms are shorter though, we all know Cotto has a hard ass fast powerful jab though. And Cotto used to be one of the best body-punchers but he hasn't exactly gone to the body hard and fast like he did when he was younger.

Yea man.. Cotto hasn't been that fighter that he was known for being.. And that was the body puncher.. Those war have gotten to him, and its sad.. I watched Cotto since his debut, and to see him rise, and then fall.. Its sad man, and the Margarito incident.. We still don't know, but many think he did use plaster.

I just wish Cotto the best, and I hope Steward can possibly tweak him up like he did with Cintron, but it's going to take more than 3 months or a fight.
