Three former members of the legendary Cuban national amateur boxing team, now living in Miami, will appear in separate bouts on the “Fighting for Haiti” double world championship boxingt card at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on April 10th. Sensational junior featherweight prospect Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux (5-0, 4 KOs) will be featured in a 10 round fight against veteran Reynaldo “El Denista” Lopez (30-7-3, 21 KOs). Trained by Freddie Roach, Rigondeaux is considered to be one of the greatest amateur boxers of all-time. He was the 2000 and 2004 Olympic gold medalist, the 2001 and 2005 World Championships gold medalist, and the 2003 and 2005 Pan American Games gold medalist.
