A guy that is not afraid to risk his future health in the ring and someone who does so by putting on one hell of a show for the fans. I have never really seen Hatton in a great war.
Some recent warriors would be Vazquez, Gatti, Marquez bros, Pacquiao, Morales, Barrera, Corrales, etc. There are a lot of guys that have been to war in their fights, but the real warriors are the ones that have been in wars on multiple occasions.
It seems to me that to be a "warrior" you need to fit some sort of physical disposition to be successful enough to be considered elite. Seems like you need a great chin and powerful shots to be a successful warrior rather than just use the tools that nature has given you.

      yea.....just let it go.

these dudes have resorted to bringing up enron execs and such. going by the general consensus, you have to be at a physical, or mental, mismatch, and get your ass beat half-to-death, in order to be considered a warrior.....

after all the examples i gave, i like your definition better.

"being a master of your own physical tools, and using that to be considered the "best" or "one of the best," qualifies as a warrior in my book.

i never called him coward, *****, cherry-picker, at least not this thread. and i already admitted i made a mistake on the martha stewart thing.
these people won, or managed to win battles, based off bull**** premises to begin with.....that's cheating in my book. quote me accurately, and don't turn my words into something they weren't intended to reference, just to argue with me.

all those people you named, tried to "cheat" the system, by fighting battles, most NORMAL ppl would shake their head at....suing mcdonalds for making their kid fat? suing jordan b/c he looks like you? you get my point.....

first off, your posts were vague, you tried to stretch out the definition of a warrior by adding "sit with his children and grandchildren, and give an accurate first hand account...", and you expect not to be countered? now you made an abstract statement "trying to cheat the system but fighting battles most NORMAL ppl would shake their head at...", just how do you define in your book what "trying to cheat the system" is? would it include excessive clinching? too much wrestling? how about running on the backfoot the entire fight? how about strategic headbutting? tactical use of elbows? some people would call them being "savvy", others might say "cheating the system".

you don't want your words turned into something they weren't intended to? make concrete solid explanations then.

This actually isn't far off from the truth.

Both in the way they fight and their brains.

Fighter that people define as warriors are inspirational to watch, however they aren't always the best fighters and usually they have short careers.
