Now that Maidana has caught Devons eye after his victory over Cayo:He has said he wants to fight Maidana next to prove he is the best fighhter at 140lbs If Alexander beats Maidana which Im certain he would, Devon would become a mandatory challenger for Khans WBA title. This can be made into a unification fight and the winner of Alexander-Khan will hold 3/4 belts. Khan would be getting the chance to keep his own title,Gain another two belts if he won. If Alexander beats both Maidana and Khan he truely would be great. Flex, Amir was keen on making his US debut after the Salita fight. Therefore he needed to fight a 140 lber with a big name. Malignaggi fits this profile. Maidana doesn't.

Have you seen the Maidana-Cayo fight? Did you notice the small audience? Thats what happens when 2 unknown fighters fight. The same thing would happen if Amir fought Maidana. His US debut would have gone unnoticed.
