I do care. As a role model to me that **** may influence me to think OK drugs aren't bad if Joe does it.

I wouldn't blame Joe if I get caught but it could be the reason why I start doing tht and sniffing my sisters underwear

I'm curious, how many people care that he does coke, and how many people really dont give a ****.
This is a tough one for me Dib. On the one hand I think he is retired, has dedicated most of his life to living like a monk, and it would be a bit sanctimonious to pass judgement on what he decides to do with his time, but on the other hand my 12yr old son boxes and has been a fan of Joe's since he was able to speak,so what do I tell the kid about one of his heroes doing on of the things I have been telling him only losers do?

Its a bit disappointing tbh,but he is human like the rest of us. If we were to crucify everybody that has done drugs we would have to chuck in vast swathes of the world of art,literature,music,sport,business,politics...bas ically we would have to hammer some of the greatest figures of the last 100 years.

Guess it just proves that anybody can be a fool.

I see where that could get complicated, but i think its also a great life lesson for kids, that someone can be great at something, and when they lose focus can make poor choices.

A lot of people do Coke that have money.

              Who cares?

I think it makes him more interesting to be honest. It would be great if he came back, reclaimed a title, and after he beat his opponent, he would pull a "Mayorga" and snort a line while in the ring (the way Mayorga used to drink a beer).

i have to laugh with the spin on this that he started doing it since he retired, although i have no proof, i find that ridculous, because i find it hard that a guy that took that good of care of his body throughout his whole life is going to start using coke in his late 30's. that is a long shot, it is more plausable that he's been doing it throughout his whole career, he just got exposed, or exposed himself, however that went down.

he could've just started, but seriously, it's not something you just pick up and develope a habit later in life. it's like going your whole life without a tattoo and then all the sudden when you're 50 you get sleeve tattoos and a whole back tattoo, just because you were bored...........

anyway, let him do coke, smoke crack, shoot up speed and heroin, because at the end of the day(calaaghe's favortie phrase) at the end of the day, it's his life and he has to deal with the consequences.

i've been around drugs and people my whole life, raised by a deaputy probation officer, that was my pop's line of work, only a sliver of an obscure percent start doing drugs later in life, most start young and continue or eventually quit.................... i've had more friends die from overdoses and had their lives ruined by drugs, i've seen more people in my line of work, bars and clubs, in and out of drugs, and not one, even the 70 year olds i know and known who still does coke, not one started late in life........... and yes 70+ still doing coke, i wouldn't have believed anyone unless i've seen it myself.

so, joe do what you want................... the best advise i could say for joe is to don't start ******** while on your coke binges, or he will be broke faster than he could snort ****, especially if it's video poker..............haha.

I think it's very ****** for a middle-aged man like Joe Calzaghe to start using *******.

I'm disappointed in him, because I'd always thought he was a good role model for kids. I won't be defending him on boxingscene from his haters like Daggum and Lead Cenobite anymore.
