He still has amazing hand speed, but the legs are not there where he can move and keep a opponent off balance. I know he's 41 years old but it seems his legs have been like this for a while now. Do you think he's doing the necessary workouts to get his legs in the best possible shape such as running 5 to 7 miles a day and doing sprints on the track. I recall Roy in his prime would do a lot of sprints and running his 5 miles at a fast pace. Before the Calzaghe fight they showed him jogging with the guys in the camp and the pace was extremely slow.

I think it's safe to say roy is extremely motivated for this fight. He does NOT want to lose to hopkins.

With that said, who knows if his legs will hold up or not, when you're old your old.

Or Maybe he has knee problems or something where he can't do the leg workouts he used to do. Prime Roy was doing windmill dunks on the basketball court so he had great legs back then.

Well B-Hop isn't exactly lightning on his legs either. They are both old guys . The better tactician will win this fight.

Roy needs to be commited to keeping his chin tucked and out of the way when Hopkins checks it.

No amount of leg training will keep him from falling to the canvas if BHop connects on point.

Then again, I could be wrong about Roy this time.

when your legs are shot from age no amount of work will get'em back, too much might make'em worse tho
