Can Guzman even make the weight though? I'll tell ya what, if he comes in overweight for this fight he should be suspended.

And I think that showed against Funeka on Saturday, guzman definitely hurt funeka a few times.
he still slaps a lot. most his power punches are slaps. he just commits harder to his slaps.
he still doesnt have good power, even as a welterweight punching a lightweight.

The guy lives with his mother; you'd accept step-aside money too.

Cut the crap people. This is a borderline mismatch and this is coming from a Maidana fan. Guzman is all wrong for him.

there's really no good reason why he shouldnt already be suspended.

He does still loop his punches a lot, but there were clearly times he threw hard, accurate punches with his knuckles on Funeka.

Funeka wasn't a lightweight on fight night though. Guzman 148, Funeka 144.

No ****ing ****, sherlock. Fact of the matter is, he's NOT suspended right now so maybe that'll change if he does it again.

                    knuckle slaps.

funeka made weight. so he was a lightweight. dont act like most fighters dont gain ~10lbs after the weigh-in anyways.
