I'm guessing he was sniffing lines one night while in front of the t.v. and saw the RJJ-Hopkins PPV promo and said to himself: "Man, what the hell, I beat both of these old ****ers and here I am snorting my life away while they're still in the limelight...that ain't right". So, he's had an epiphany of sorts, and decided that he'll come clean to the world to get the attention back on him and then his next step is to announce his return to the ring...where he'll avoid Chad Dawson.

But, in all seriousness, I think the fact that Joe is so bored just SCREAMS comeback.
