There is a number of variations in peoples perception of the P4P list.

P4P Perception A) An over all fighter's achievement (including recent wins, past losses etc) How dominant he is in his weight class, did he move up in class, etc.

P4P Perception B) Based on recent wins, dominations and titles.

I go with Perception A. I look at what the boxer has achieved in his carrier, who and how long ago he lost (if any losses) etc.

You're right, Corrales should be on the top 10 P4P list, but the reason I don't have Corrales on my P4P list, is because he did not win legitimately. Those stunts he pulled should not put him on the list.

If there was a top 10 list of Boxers who won titles by cheating, he would be ranked as #1, DLH #2

So for now, I took both Castillo and Corrales off the list. I cannot have Castillo on the list due to his recent loss to Corrales. And Corrales I explained above. Those those spots are filled with Pacquiao and Calzaghe (can't have blanks LOL)

hahaha, if that is the case then you should take Glen Johnson off because he actually lost to Antonio Tarver. Funny, I thought that Corrales won by punching Castillo in the face with about eight unanswered power shots, but I guess that is against the rules.

        haha...agreed.

Seriously diary...by that logic, Glen Johnson has lost A LOT to B level comp and shouldn't be worthy of a top 10 spot. I know a lot of his losses were controversial and should have gone the other way, but that Tarver fight was controversial too. I wouldn't consider a shot RJJ, Woods, and Harmon grade A competition either.

Corrales has now beaten Quinonez, Garcia, Gainer, Manfredy, Casamayor, Freitas, and JLC. He has only lost to two elite fighters...I think he should be in the top ten whether you look at his whole career or his "what have you done for me lately" record.

no insults man. Your list is ******ed. you can take that as an insult......I just take that as you not knowing much about boxing.

How could winky have defeated a "hot" fighter....when Tito's first victory after a long layoff was a blown up 1 dimmensional welterweight.

you are looking more, and more ******ed man.

Just say you think he is one of the best.....dont give a b.s. reasoning behind his credibility....when:

De La Hoya should be ranked way higher than trinidad as far as your "hot" ratings go. That is insulting to people here.

Well this is why Johnson is #10
And as ****** Passport said: "Glen Johnson has defeated Eric Harding, Clinton Woods, Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver all in a row."

Corrales won a controversial fight by cheating the 10 count! End of story, lets not turn this into a whole new discussion and if you prefer to do so, lets debate this under a new thread.

But if wasn't for the mouth piece stunt he would have lost. He cheated his way to victory! Thus I don't think he deserves the P4P top 10 ranking. A Belt? Sure.. he's got that..

In other words you can cheat your way to a "W" and to a Title, but P4P there are no rules, referees, Points, or Judges here.. so I say No room for cheaters on the P4P.

Sorry guys, but this is my own reasoning

                    Corrales didn't cheat anything.

If anything, he benifited from the referee making a poor decesion in not forcing Chico to continue again without the mouth piece.

Corrales beat both ten counts, and in no way forced the ref to take the extra time. That was the ref's decesion, and you suggesting Corrales 'cheated' implies you think he knew the ref was going to allow that extra time.

                    That's non sense.

Corrales' point was Valid. The 2nd time he made the consious decesion to take it out, but it fell out of his hand. He said that if had he tried to pick up the slippery mouth piece, he may have been counted out, or given the ref the impression he was to hurt to pick it up.

The incredible display he put up after the knock downs had nothing to do with cheating, and was remarkable.

Either way, Corrales' last 3 wins are agaisnt Cassamayor, Frietas, and Castillo.

Only an idiot would leave him off a pound of pound list.

I can appreciate your reasoning but explain to me this. How do you justify not placing Diego on your list if you have Bernard Hopkins as number one? Hopkins is well known for being dirty on the inside by hitting low, behind the head, in the kidneys, on the thigh, on the ass, etc... Are these not offenses that are punishable in the same way as spitting out a mouth guard. As a matter of fact, since the effect it has on the other fighter and long term damage some of them could carry, are they not even worse?
