Shaefer is also working on a fantastic undercard fight for the July 10 card. He is attempting to get Winky Wright and Sergio Mora, two former junior middleweight champions, in the ring.

Although the fight between Diaz and Marquez is not yet a done deal, Shaefer says the two sides are almost there.

“It’s very close,” Schaefer said. “We are getting everything signed, but we have agreed on terms.”






It was an exciting fight. Should be a great one again. At 135. People forget Diaz gave Marquez all he could handle for the first half of the fight.

Winky Wright vs Sergio Mora is not a fantastic fight, that will be a snoozer! They should have put Victor Ortiz vs Maidana on the co feature. Anything but Winky Wright, that dude is boring to watch!

They're not getting Winky on the undercard. That would mean that GBP and Top Rank would have to work together. And, don't see that happening anytime soon.
