I know. Ive seen his first 3 fights, and the sparring session with Shawn Porter, and the dude looks like a veteran. It's nuts because he is so young. I guess they plan on taking 4-5 years until he gets a title shot though.

I'm sure I saw a sparring session on YouTube of him handling Benavidez surprisingly well. Can't find it now.

Good shout outs in Cloud and Henry. I don't rate Berto though, I just don't see it. Btw, I presume the poster who mentioned Holt is having a laugh? You realise he got knocked out in his last fight?

Two years from now Americans will be 7 or 8 of the top 10 p4p fighters.

There's a few good American Heavyweights coming out of NY too. Tor Hamer, can't remember the other few. Then we got Deontay Wilder.

I'd say a year or so ago this wasn't the case. However, Alexander, Bradley, Ward, Dirrell, and a few others have made some noise in the past 12 months.

I'd like to see an American Heavy emerge and at least be decent. It's kind of pathetic that Arreola is by far the best American Heavyweight.

The new crop of fighters coming out of the states is strong. We tend to forget that Dirrell, Ward, Bradley, Alexander etc are so young because they have already accomplished a lot in their careers. By the time these guys truly mature you will have another crop of very good fighters to follow. USA will always produce the most boxers.

I wouldn't put Williams there, he is already established and has a lot of fights.

Ward, Dirrell, Bradley, and Alexander are all on the cusp of real stardom, which is a great thing not just for American boxing but boxing in general.
