Call me delusional but I scored Funeka - Guzman a near shutout...

... in favor of Guzman !! Anyone else had it for Guzman by wide(but not so clear) UD ? I don't have my scorecard on hand, but I think I had it like 108 to 119, or close to it.

The thing of it is, there were alot of rounds that were difficult to score, and could've gone either way, the reason I gave those tough rounds to Guzman is because, for me, Guzman's landed punches were cleaner and his ring generalship.

I was actually kind of surprised when the judges scorecards were announced, and the fact that it ended up being a split decision.

Pretty much everyone did but the official judges. Guzman won a wide UD.

Guzman won decisively. But I dont give any credit to Guzman because he exceeded the weight limit by 9 ****ing lbs.

for the record on fight night Guzman weighed 148 and Funeka weighed 144.

But yeah, totally messed up by not making weight no question.

              Yeah, that isn't the issue.

He didn't make weight, he gets no credit from me.

I had Guzman winning 116 -111. He clearly won the fight although it was competitive, all credit to Funeka who never really stopped throwing or coming forward. However the extra weight was a BIG advantage and without it would have been a totally different fight. Im not saying Guzman would have won because Funeka was game.
