Why wasn't there "Go to neutral corner" when Dirrell slipped?

After watching the fight (thank you DVR) over and over....there was sufficient time for the ref to jump in and tell AA to go to a neutral corner to allow Dirrell to get "dusted" off.....I noticed that no one has brought that up yet.

Again...what AA did was wrong and the DQ was the right call.....

The ref was special-ed. No, thats insulting special-eds, they could do his job better.

Point being why diddn't the ref step in and prevent AA from hitting AD? There was sufficient time....

Th ref would have had to be really fast. Notice the pause, AA saw that Dirrell was down.

Ref needs to go back to referee school. This is not the first time. Where his performance was found to be lacking. He is always out of position and too far from the action. He was so far away from the Direll slip he didn't see what happened and was going to wipe the gloves when he realized Direll was f**ked up. I have also never seen a doctor spend so much time on a cut when AA when the ref stopped the fight. That was at a bad time, he seems to not have the natural instincs of when to jump in. He also stopped AA in a key spot when he had Direll up against the ropes for having his arm out??? I was rooting for Direll hard but even I was questioning that call. The ref was way out of position during the controversial Direll knockdown which yes Direll did have his feet tangled up with AA's I don't know how ref saw that in real time he got lucky with that call.
