AA wasn't there to win any rounds.

I'll GIF Dirrell laying limp on the ground and twitching like an epileptic for you.

    Just for you.

      ****brain.
Good point, AA is willing to give up rounds and open up later on, but I dont think he will do it to such an extent anymore. I expect to see him step on the gas a lot earlier in his fights from now on, and I expect to see a war between him and Ward in the final. BTW, does anyone know what the scorecards were in AA vs Taylor going into the 12th round?

Sure-fire strategy to win every fight huh?

          You sir, are an idiot
Every fighter has their own strategy, this one worked for AA his whole career, not saying he would have knocked out Dirrell anyway but it was getting interesting. AA knows now that he cant do that ever again against a slick boxer like Dirrell, and he wont try it against Ward.

AA is gonna have to come up with a better gameplan than just to go into a turtle shell and rely on his power.

my advice: peekaboo, but more head movement like tyson (whom AA idolizes). if dirrell can split his guard, then other guys in the super six should be able to also. and if they have a little movement and outwork AA, then AA is ****ed.

if AA bobs and weaves, ducks and dodges, he would be very very dangerous. he needs to fire his current coach and hire atlas to teach him to fight like tyson.

he's a rich mofo, he could hire tyson as a consultant himself.

I think it was still a 50-50 outcome before the dq. If I bet I would have gone for a dirrell decision at that time but wouldnt surprise me if abraham got the ko
Easy, he put his left foot behind Dirrell's right foot, then he threw a right hand which landed and down went Dirrell. Wasn't hurt just as Abe wasn't hurt from the KD in the 4th. Only this one was a trip, Dirrell caught Abe off balance. Really simple. Watch some slow mo, you can see Dirrell being tripped even before Abe threw the right hand.

I guess AA never tries to win a round because thats the same old AA.

If not winning rounds was his gameplan he followed it perfectly.

AA was nearing a ko if the fight had continued into the 12th. He was wrong to punch Dirrell while he was down, I hope Dirrell recovers well (I think he was faking a bit though IMO)

Abraham sure only cared about getting that KO. He even got himself disqualified to get it, because he could never have done it legally.
