Someone should have informed him the KO doesn't count if his opponent isnt on his feet.
AA wasn't there to win any rounds.

I got disqualified in March of '2010
After givin a whippin to Andre Dirrel
Late hit - my title; they had to take it
Why? I guess that's the only way I could lose
Five months later; rematch, I needs my crown
First round, one punch and he sat down
Don't get me mad cuz I'm amped already
Took titles from fighters who was champs already
The heart and soul of boxing on HBO
What these other fighters take me fo? A joke?
Ah y'all musta forgot! ....Comment

TS you are totally correct. Abraham was clearly outpointed that dosen't mean he was dominated. You can't dominate a guy if you run away from him. Dominance implies control. If you get KD and are on the run you are clearly not in control. It's sad Dirrel didn't continue the fight, i think he could have run for a few more rounds and won an wide decision.Comment

I keep reading bait threads about AA getting dominated because he didn't win many rounds.
You people are either straight up dumbasses or just trying to bait people into arguments.
The fight went exactly as expected. Everyone knew AA would hide behind the high guard and try to wear Dirrell down in the late rounds.
He went in there with the intention of getting the k.o win.
Which he did.
NOT TO WIN ROUNDS.
How can you dominate someone by winning rounds, when its OBVIOUS that AA didn't care about winning rounds.
To think that AA was there to try and win on points is ******ed. He wanted the k.o and fought like it.
The only thing I regret is him not starting to hurt Dirrell sooner.
But nevertheless, I still get an erection when I see Dirrell lying on the floor limp from that beautiful k.o punch.
The crying at the end was also very special to me.
:wank:
O'Bannon Ima co-sign you 100%. Even after the fight Abraham said " I don't care about points, I only care about getting a KO". Also you can tell that was his strategy because never once did he complain about the judges and referee. His only goal was a KO, which is why he didn't give a **** about the hometown judges.Comment

TS is SPOT ON!!!
Remeber also man, the Ref stopped the fight for no reason (the cut) weren't bad at all he did it cause Dirrel was gassing, also he stopped AA for some reason when he had Dirrel cornered.
If the ref wasn't helping so much i think you would have seen AA step up earlier instead of leaving it a bit later for the KO. Dirrel really needs to stop this falling down **** to avoid and give himself breaks it's not sportsmanlike, unlike King Arthur who is a true gentleman.
You are right tho, AA allways comes on strong late for a KO, he lets you outbox him/tire like he did against Jermain Taylor then BOOM Picture perfect KO, Dirrel would have got sparked imo.Comment

Abraham tried to go by the rules. They dismissed his KD as a slip, let Dirrel low blow. What was he gonna do? If they don't respect the rules why should he? The KO was there and he took it.Comment

Quoted for truth.
Abraham had been down on the cards going into the 12th many times before, and then crushed his opponent, he had Dirrell on the run and was landing more and more, now I cant say he would of KO'd him, but it WAS typical Arthur Abraham performance from my viewpoint.
Also I jokingly said before the fight how great it would be if Dirrell cried, i never imagined it would actually happen.
I did feel a little sorry for him though, i'm not as evil as you jack.Comment
