      The fans want an epic-rematch!

Its good for boxing if these two fight each other again. Dirrell of course will be outboxing Abraham, but everyone knows Abraham always has a punchers chance.

There should be a rematch but the DQ was deserved and was caused out of frustration and desperation. If Dirrell was seriously hurt and if he could have continued...that's the debate. But nobody knows for sure other than Dirrell. We wouldn't be in this position had AA not hit Dirrell when he was down.

They need to get those ****** ass advertisement logos off the damn mat so the fighters don't keep slipping on them. Plus, the ref should do his job better and make sure the corner isn't wet on either side!!!! It's ridiculous! And it was the heat of the moment and that punch came quicker then some ppl want to admit.

Its not like AA was like **** it I want to get DQ'd. In slow motion it makes it look like AA had time to think but he really didn't, also in slow motion it makes Dirrell look like he had time to think about laying on the mat and acting. But really neither guy faked anything I don't think. I'm kind of unsure and have mixed feelings on this situation.

i'm not really interested in a rematch since it was too lopsided but i am interested in seeing abraham fight again. i like him as a fighter even though i think what he did was unclassy and plain dirty.

Its going to be lopsided on the score-cards! Dirrell probably has twice the speed of AA, but in the later rounds his speed was depleting! That is when AA was having his best rounds knocking Dirrell down in the 10th! Someone can outbox a fighter for all 12 rounds but get KO'd in the final round! Hell, Taylor was outboxing froch and got ktfo out in the final round!

i agree.. thing is this. dirrell made certain mistakes that i think will be fixed in a rematch, therefore making it harder for abraham to win.

at times dirrell would get too confident and act ******. like when he stood against the ropes and in the corners risking to get hit clean by one of abrahams hammers. you don't do that when you have such a fundamentally solid plan that you were executing almost to perfection. also dirrell could have ran those 2 last rounds and still won.. even after committing the silly mistakes.

i believe he was going to do that (move around more) and by doing that he slipped and you know what happened. i think dirrell is smart enough not to go toe to toe with abraham in the 12th round after having outclassed the guy through the entire fight. i just honestly didn't see any chance for abraham. not saying abraham is not good enough because he is... but dirrell is like the kryptonite (style wise) for a fighter like abraham, if you know what i'm saying.

Yup; said the same thing. It's been said for a while now. There was one fight, can't remember which one, when both fighters kept slipping on the large advertisement in the center of the ring. And many other fights where fighters slip on the logos around the ring. Money dictates but it puts the fighter in danger.

If Abraham can up his pace early in the fight, put more pressure on his opponents, he can still go all the way. He still has momentum and he is going to be pissed off for the rest of the tourney. I would not want to be one of his opponents.

Both Dirrell and Abraham will be carrying momentum from their fight and will have something to prove. It could get interesting. Both guys have looked great so far.
