...I still think Khan has a half a chance of beating him. Maidana has got a power advantage and as Khan's chin is ****, there is a high chance he'll get knocked out.

But Maidana does leave himself open to shots when he starts throwing wildley and Khan does have the speed and skill to take advantage of these openings.

Does anybody else out there think Khan has a HALF decent chance against Maidana or is it just me?

i think khan will win this one.he knows he cant get hit by maidanas right hand plus roach will make a great gameplan to avoid that.i think that fight turns out like dirrell/aa.styles make fights

Khan has a very good chance of beating Maidana but he also has a very good chance of getting KOd. It is not a cert that Maidana would win. This is one of the reasons that this would be an interesting fight and in many ways a better more exciting fight to watch than Khan Malignaggi. If Khan were to win it, it would be a more impressive debut fight in the States also generating far more interest than the Malinaggi fight.

When I was watching Maidana Ortiz, I remember Ortiz finding a way through his defense on a good few occasions by pressuring him into retaliating. Havig said that, I doubt that's the gameplan Khan will use.

i think theyre about even. maidana might even have the longer reach. i know cayo's got some long arms for a jr welter and he only had a slight advantage in that department. maidana also gets a lot of extension on his punches.
khan's reach at 140 is not that impressive.
