if it was a musician or something nobody would be surprised but calzaghe is an athlete. back in the day most fighters lived clean, now a day fighters are getting lazier and lazier. guzman just set a new all time low as far as work ethic goes, and now someone we all thought of as a great example of a clean and dedicated athlete admits to using coke.

the boxers need to set examples or the young fighters out there are gonna get lazier and lazier too and we will end up having fighters no better than the ones in mma.

As a hardcore boxing fan I hate Calzaghe because he cherry picked for most of his career, However I do admit I hope he gets things right here. Hard drugs is the worst thing anyone can do in life, seriously. Not only will it be extremely hard for him to get clean but also it costs a helluva lost of cash and Calzaghe while he did make alot of cash. Not as much as Bernard Hopkins or Roy Jones, He fought alot of low promoted title defences in Wales.

As a fan of the sport I hope he gets clean. It sets a very bad example

No one can win world titles and be a cokehead.........
Too much work goes into training, Training that you could not do if you had taken ******* even a few days before....

Suprised when a top atlethe takes drugs because they are more health conscious than most and worry what goes in them. That is what i thought, but i must be naive to think that.
Maybe because JC needs to be happier and thats what ******* gives people. Gives people an artificial confidence and happiness for a while, but theres always comedowin isnt there.
