I think with boxing fans, his reputation would be almost equal with out the Tyson fights. But I don't think he'd be a household name, or as commonly known by people who don't follow the sport, if he hadn't fought Tyson.

Tyson-Holyfield is very similar to Foreman-Ali. They both got a tremendous boost among boxing fans and average spectators alike.Tyson definetly put Holy over the top. No way Tyson evr beats Holy. Not in '96, '91, not whenever. Tyson would need a gun to win.
