Joe Calzaghe vs Andre Dirrell @ 168 - Who Wins?

Calzaghe is harder to hit with his body and ehad movement.

Dirrell has quick speed but Calzaghe would time him IMO.

Dirrell has fast footwork, but it's more like survival mode while Calzaghe had footwork to attack and dfensd at the same time.

Calzaghe through a lot, not as hard, but surely much more than Dirrell has to offer.

The other issue is Calzaghe's workrate and stamina combined. No way in hell Dirrell can cope with that and I give the last few rounds to Calzaghe because his speed doesn't deteriate as much.

I know Calzaghe can deal with the speed of the punches, and personally feel he has the footwork and skills to tag Dirrell on the angles.

Calzaghe UD in a messy fight. This is based on Dirrell being much faster in hand and legs than AA and Froch. If Dirrell beat5s Ward then I'll change my mind maybe. Dirrell isn't hitting Caalzaghe without getting hit back and his running would play into Calzaghe's hands because he doesn;t get tired and will find the target

Calzaghe clearly wins a UD. Dirrell will cry about it afterwards and Calzaghe will celebrate with a trip to the gents for a line of ******* and a wank into the toilet.

Yes after the Froch fight I realsied AA does not have the style to pose a threat so bet with Dirrell, but Calzaghe is all wrong for this man.

Dirrell looks accurate VS AA who stands still and Froch is is more open than a 24 hour hooker, but Calzaghe is not easy to hit, comes abck with speed and angles.

Not only does Dirrell get tired in the later rounds, he gets all weak and slips. Calzaghe would pressure him and he wouldn't know what to do.

Ward has a style that works against Calzaghe, whether he wins is another issue but he doesn't run. Ward uses clever movement but does fight rough, is fast, hits decent, accurate and has a good belnd of attack and defence, but he doesn't get afraid and run.

dont get me wrong, i like Winky a lot, but thats a ****ed up statement in your case

i don't think winky is boring his fight with bernard was terrible granted

but he went to war with vargas and i like the candelo fight aswell

he schooled mosley pretty well also don't think floyd is gonna have as easy a time as wink did


as for calzaghe v dirrell

i don't like him but i gotta pick calzaghe
he'd outwork him he'd probably get clipped and go down at some stage but dirrell really isn't that special if you ask me he's only defense is to box on the back foot but alot of times he pulls back with his head up and gets hit too much for an elite fighter. i think abraham might have knocked him out if the fight continued
