froch has the best resume, maybe not the best skills and until someone beats him he is the no 1 guy. The dirrell fight was close and dirrell lost that fight more than Froch won it but if he didn't run and hold all fight when froch was in attack, froch might have landed way more and looked far more convincing, we will never no.

Pascal-taylor-dirrell is better than any other supermiddleweight just now.

I personally don't think he will stay there but until some other boxer beats him or the others have a matching or better resume , froch is the number 1 guy.

I am not at all convinced by Dirrell. Its weird because he can look sensational at times,but there is just something missing,character possibly,maybe strength..Idk. I dont see him having a long and successful career,put it like that. He looked horrible against Froch,almost scared at times, and was doing great against AA until he slowed down and his reaction to the punch when he was down was quite frankly bizarre. Contrary to the ****e posted here in the last 36 hour,it was not the devastating hammer blow many would have you believe.

For me,the jury is out on Dirrell. Ward is the most complete boxer at 168 imo. I really dont like the jingoistic undertones of this thread though.

styles make fights. he had the right style and gameplan against AA. that is all that means.

if he was the best boxer in the super six, he would've beaten froch by wider margins.
