This.
The Roy Jones was a perfect example because no one was as popular as him at the time and no one wanted to see him lose.
But rules are rules.Comment

LOL, thats funny.
No it shouldnt it should depend on the amount of damage done. If the fighters can go on let them fight, if you happen to have Incredible Hulk like punches then it makes it difficult for the other fighter to continue and the only option left is DQ.Comment

Ref... REF! The other guy keeps hitting me in the body. Can you call them low blows so it stops?
Yeah, I'm sure he would have been all man about it.
Well the standard procedure is to take a point away. But... if one fighter is knocked out, he obviously can't keep fighting, so only a DQ can be applied.Comment

lol dorian is really upset about this, I didn't realize you were such a big abraham fan. You're clearly bitter and to be honest, I don't see why. The only person to blame is abraham for hitting him when he was down. Oh and of course dirrell is to blame for boxing abraham's ears off.Comment

Not saying AA should be taken out of the super six or something that drastic, but he did deserve to be DQ from the fight. Hopefully he will never do something like that again, and it will just be a temporary mistake, as everyone has made. Had Dirrell done it he probably would of been DQ'd and called a "Thug", and if he wasn't DQ'd after throwing a punch like that, people would be screaming their heads off.Comment
