This is what really special fighters do. At the start of their careers they don't just look at the old fighters that have the highest payday. First they take out the up and comers to prove themselves. I would love to see this fight made.

I love Maidana, but I think Alexander might be talking him up a bit because he thinks (correctly) that it'd probably be an easy fight for him. I don't think anyone not named Cayo was surprised by what Maidana did last night.

Oh I agree with that but it wasn't like Cayo was a slouch and Maidana is an easy fight for Alexander because Alexander is really good not because Maidana is a weak fighter. I think Maidana has proven himself as a tough fighter with dangerous power and pretty good handspeed.
