He wasn't hurt.. Say what you want. He was on his bicyle and not one punch landed on Dirrell in the 11th rd. Dirrell was crusing to an easy win.

If he was so hurt, then Why didn't AA finish him after the KD in the tenth. It slightly stunned him. Hurt.. Sorry no.

All I'm going to say is Dirrel didn't look to be faking to me. If that was fake then he needs an Oscar. If that was fake he's in the wrong field and needs to take Denzels job as a lead actor.

For real. I swear some people have never seen a confused individual after being knocked out. He was clearly confused.

at the end of the day Dirrell outboxed Abraham for 11 rounds and would have gone on to win by a big margin !!

He should have been dq'd that was pretty bad. I mean if AA is dq'd why not Lennox Lewis?

yes and no.... yes i think the punch hurt him, because he was just dropped and was now taking on punishment, yes i think he might of acted alittle to seal the deal. They came up with the perfect gameplan, i honestly think dirrell has stamina issues - he gets over excited and that's worst than punching yourself out, that maybe his only weakness at the moment, abraham was frustrated and wasn't thinking - automatic disqualification period - dirrell didn't even need to sell it - its in the handbook - so yes i think he did act alittle, because like Green said if you shake, your out of the tournament, might be damaged, and now he's good on facebook etc.. i think the punch looked harder than delivered - he was down AA clearly fouled him, the theatricks where not called for - AA/saurland event are sore loosers and honestly should have conducted themselves better in defeat - AA was disqualified automatically if dirrel could have gotten up and acted civilized he still would have won because of the rules!

And Editor's Note was just added to the article with the following.

[Editor's Note: Green wants to clarify that he does not believe Dirrell was faking the effects of Abraham's punch. Green believes Dirrell was realistically hurt from the punch, but he also believes Dirrell could have continued if he was given a five minute period to recover."

i dont think he has stamina problems. if he does its not major. he fought at a pace i have never seen him fight at. that and the fact that abraham caught him in the 10th was what made him gassed IMO.
otherwise i pretty much agree with your post.
                    dirrell oversold it....unnecessarily.

Green makes some good points. Dirrell wasnt looking too good at that point and AA was chasing the KO. I want to give Dirrell the benefit of the doubt though,as I am sure he wouldnt have wanted to win like that in his home town in a fight of that magnitude.

It was a sad way for the fight to end,but I have seen far worse fouls than that so I aint gonna **** on AA too much for it. If you watch it in real time it happens pretty quick. It was a fair DQ.
