    Do they ever score rope knockdowns anymore?

    Seriously, I've seen happen multiple times and its never scored, including the one in round 5 of Abraham-Dirrell. Abraham was clearly punched and he fell right onto the ropes. I won't single out that ref for not calling it, because no ref has been doing this lately...

    yea if the ref determines the rope held the boxer up than he could called it a KNOCKDOWN BUT ITS A JUDGEMENT CALL

      It wasn't a knockdown. A punch didn't land, Dirrell's forearm pushed Abrahams neck and was off balance on the ropes. Abraham wasn't hurt as he wasn't caught.
      Dirrell's knockdown in the 10th was clear though, the ref was crap, even an amateur ref would have counted that.
