He did seem rather obsessed with that match up and I'm really not sure why. I think he may of been doing it to spark some interest in Khans next fight, so people tune in to see if he would be a challenge to Maidana and to build that fight. Why not call out Devon too? Hes an HBO guy. I just don't understand why he singled out Khan all night.

Because Maidana was the mandatory challenger to Khan's title and Khan's team through some elaborate negotiations managed to get him to sell himself short so that they don't have to fight him for 3 fights.

Maidana would DESTROY Khan, Roach and Amir are smart to duck him.

HAAHAHAHA, any Khan fans want to attack Calzaghe? Atleast Calzaghe didn't get knocked the **** out by a journeyman! Prescotts resume was all padded as hell before he fought Khan, Prescott was KO'ing guys with losing records!
Calzaghe is a backyard fighter. Too afraid to leave his comfort zone. Nobody respects Calzaghe.

Maidana rejected a Bradley fight, so it's certainly not a case of the other top fighters avoiding him. Khan's sidestepped him, but as Roach indicated, that fight can be made soon down the line. If Khan looks good against Paulie they may fight Marcos. Or maybe they'll stall for one more fight, then fight Maidana. Either way, it's business. Khan is being built up. They don't want to throw him in with such a punishing fighter right now. Right or wrong? At the end of the day, Maidana has earned his shot and deserves a tilt at Khan and the full WBA belt. If Khan's team are still stalling after May 15, he may get stripped and Maidana can get the belt. Then fight Devon and unify.

Timmeh was like: "Yo Madonna you wanna fight me?" Maidana: 'No hablo Ingles"
