You mean people actually thought Dirrell was a bad fighter?

Froch would've been better off throwing caution to the wind from the start and getting wild. Had he done that, there's a reasonable chance that Dirrell would've crumbled under the pressure.
Good analaysis, as I said Dirrell doesnt operate as well under big pressure.

But anyway, we are both wrong Clegg, as Froch only wins because his opponents "fight the wroing fight".

It's not that froch makes all these people fight the wrong fight, with his awkwardness and pressure, no it's just that he gets lucky that they all decide to fight the wrong fight.

I look forward to the excuse if Carl beats Kessler, my money is on "ward ruined him"

After dirrell-forch, i knew that dirrell had what it takes to comeback and beat abraham. His speed and movement was the key and he delivered

Id say that people were equally critical of both Froch and Dirrell when they fought.

It was an ugly fight, Froch missing badly and Dirrell holding on for dear life.

But Dirrell landed more and was able to hurt Froch, yet Froch criticised him for running.

Dirrell was clearly a more aggressive confident fighter against Andre. Andre was never hurt, he got caught with great timed shots.

I think Dirrell would beat Froch now comfortably.

Dirrell is a good fighter, no doubt. i dont particularly like his style, but it is effective. abraham landed alot more than froch did and clearly dropped dirrell also. who knows what would have happened in the 12th, but it was clear that dirrell was doing more running and abraham was trying harder to land a big one than he was early on.

And the bit i highlighted in your post, my respone would be : i dont think so, what pressure? i bet he didnt even land 50 power punches in 12 rounds.

I bet he THREW a lot more punches than AA did, most of them didnt hit granted, but they gave Dirrell something to think about.

he probably did throw more punches, but if they dont land, then surely that looks better for the person avoiding them.

That wasn't the case last night, where Abraham only started to win rounds once Dirrell had built up an unassailable lead on the scorecards.

Dirrell outboxed Abraham a lot easier and more impressively than he did Froch.

lmaoooooooo at you thinking dirrell won every round against froch...froch won the fight by at least 4 rounds...even dirrell admitted froch won the 12t..dont let me have to show you the interview..

Even gary shaw said dirrell threw the fight away...
