First off that is a big "if". I don't see Khan and Maidana ever fighting,clearly GBP has intention to duck him and IMO that policy is set to continue. I feel GBP will change the rules "if" Maidana makes it through the next 2 fights and find a way out.
"If" they do make the fight I expect to see Khan attempt to outbox him but Khan has the speed but not the power to keep Maidana at bay and Maidana will stalk him down. Much is made of Khan's boxing ability and much of this is really based on his hand speed which is exceptional however Khan does not cover up well when throwing his flurries and is rather static upper body wise and not elusive enough and can be hit. Khan is not elusive enough and his poor inside technique will be probed and tested by Maidana and that is where he may come up short. It is 50 50 to me either a points win for Khan or KO by Maidana. Roach does not want this fight and neither does GBP. I just don't see it happening and they will do their best to avoid it at any cost.
