Nww I'll be honest, when i was watching it live i did think that there was some delayed reaction to the DQ shot from AA, but after watching it several times I honestly believe that Direll was real hurt, how bad is debatable.
I think that the reason why he thought he lost the fight was because the ringside Dr. told his he was knocked out, but failed to mention that it was while he was down so it was a DQ.
What seemed most strange to me in this fight, which was in Direll home state, was why the Dr. took the time out to stop the bleeding over AA eye?
Also in AA defense, earlier in the fight Direll had slipped in still stayed on his feet, & if at that point AA would have landed he would have won the fight, but to be honest I think Abraham knew that Direll was down and throw that shot regardless.
