For THOSE who think Dirrell was "Acting or Faking"

Yeah, this is how I feel about it. As soon as they say AA is dq'd, Dirrell miraculously wakes up and acts like he doesn't know whats going on. Most boxers, due to pride, would be like I'm ok, I'm ok but Dirrell plays it up like he got hit with a baseball bat. He did that because he knew he was feigning the injuryComment

i've heard of delayed reaction, not delayed convulsing, followed by hollering and crying, throwing a fit only to be released hours later from the hospital w/o even a mild concussion.
seriously, from convulsing on the floor to all of that?? the scene in the ring looked like it was ripped straight out of a bad comedy.

I am not a European you idiot, I am an American and how ****** do you have to be to miss that he was faking it.He didnt look at the ref. Idiot.... Why do people keep saying that.
He was already sitting down. It's not going to look the same as a guy standing loosing his legs from under him.
Is this just a European thing? I mean seriously. How ****** could you be to think he was faking.Comment

You don't have to put all your weight behind a punch to KO someone. If someone doesn't see the punch coming, and relaxes his body, then the punch doesn't even need to be hard to drop you when it's placed right. AA has unreal power, and for him to hit a defensless man clean on the chin, punching down, would easily KO him.Comment

Dirrell was put to sleep with a wicked punch that rattled his brain, he was clearly knocked silly. You have heard the term knocked silly correct that term did not get invented just now, when someone gets knocked out cold they lose their senses. It is one way to tell how hurt a guy is.Yeah, this is how I feel about it. As soon as they say AA is dq'd, Dirrell miraculously wakes up and acts like he doesn't know whats going on. Jim Grey a guy who have been around fights and will call guy on bull**** was clearly convinced at Dirrell being knocked out and he was right there in front of him. Do you think Grey would not call him on it if he thought he was faking?Last edited by The Gambler1981; 03-28-2010, 12:48 PM.Comment

Well I have, and I have seen it. I've seen a man get beat down, was KO'd and started convulsing about 30 seconds after he was laid out. Granted the beating he took looked worse. But he didn't get hit by a man who fights for a living, and who has power like AA.i've heard of delayed reaction, not delayed convulsing, followed by hollering and crying, throwing a fit only to be released hours later from the hospital w/o even a mild concussion.

That punch was perfect to the chin. We all know that the chin is one of the most weak spots...also, Dirrell was sitting and looking down without expecting it. He was on a weird position with no support and with no strength on his neck. That punch did hurt him.Comment

I have seen enough dudes put to sleep to know when someone is knocked unconcious. All I have to say is watch how more guys react after they get knocked out. and the answer is pretty clear.Comment
