I want to see Marquez at 140 after the Diaz fight fighting for a 4th weight championship. Marquez doesn't need to be fighting the Mitchells of the world at the age of 37, it's a waste of time.

Marquez would beat Mitchell handily IMO. Mitchell hasn't really fought any one yet. He looked good against Prescott, his best opponent, but Marquez is on a whole different level. Give it a year and I might have a different opinion. Mitchell is maturing

that would be poor matchmaking by warren. if he wants mitchell to be his next star fighting marquez is a mistake. go after one the other lightweight champions like humberto soto. marquez is far to skilled for kev at this point. the division is packed with talent. a fight with marquez would be the end of micthell

Mitchell just barely moved to LW, and he's a small one at that, so 140 would be absurd.
He shouldn't be looking past the Katsidis fight, but if he can get past that, I think he has a chance with Marquez at 135. How good will depend on how he looks against Kat.
I don't know why Marquez isn't fighting Ricky Hatton, that's a very winnable fight for him and a ton of money to boot.
