I lost over 1 million points on this fight but I thought Dirrell pretty much beat the hell out of Abraham. No excuses other than the uncredited KD and 2-3 low blows that should have at least deducted 1 point from Dirrell. That was a total of 3 potential points(the KD and 1 point taken away for excessive low blows). Still it doesn't take away from Dirrell's excellent performance, he outboxed Abraham regardless.
Yeah i agree, AA's late punch would have had an effect alrite, it was so unexpected and it landed too, dirrell could not have in any way expected it, you can see andres head moving on contact clearly
I way i saw the fight going was either a Dirrell UD or a late AA KO. Dirrell boxed well and went far ahead on the score-cards as expected. He showed great speed and reflex's as in the Froch fight, but what suprised me was his chin, AA caught him with a couple of decent shots and Dirrell looked OK.
On the controversial points:
I think AA's knockdown was legit and should of stood.
Not to sure about Dirrell's supposed 2nd knockdown, didnt get to see a replay so cant say, but in real time i thought it looked like a knockdown.
As for the DQ i thought it was the correct decision. At first i thought Dirrell was over-doing it, but i doubt he would of come across so emotional ect if he wasnt being for real.
It was a ****** thing to do aswell by AA, as he was just getting into a sort of rthym and was cutting down the distance between him and Dirrell and finally starting to land a few shots.
Dirrell was sharp and probably could of kept out of the way of AA's shot untill the final bell and win a wide UD, but AA seemed to be getting closer and his always likely to score a late KO, so he shot himself in the foot with that one.

I agree with what you said, the thing is I think Dirrel was over doing it a bit. But no doubt the DQ was the correct thing to do
I had the fight 7-3 in rounds. Dirrel was doing what he was suppose to do. Pick up the first 4-5 rounds by staying planted and throwing and the in the later part, stick the jab, give angles and move. Abraham does well counterpunching, but he doesnt lead well, thats why Dirrel was so effective. Abraham fighting style is a basic, pending too much on his power. Dirrel is a much more complete fighter although not as strong or powerful. Dirrel also, showed a better chin than in previous fights, because Abraham landed some nasty right hands and didnt bother Dirrell. Another thing was Dirrel body punching it was excellent, Abraham dont like body punches at all. Glad the fight was in Detroit, because if not Dirrel wwould had gotten like 4 points deducted Unnecesearly I might add.
The Abraham corner showed inexperience and incompetence. They didnt knew what to do when AA was KD, much less when he was losing teh fight. They made Joe Santiago look like Eddy Futch.
Now to the contreversy. Abraham was frustrated, and was fighting dirty. Rabbit pnches, pushing, you name it. he was desperate. When he landed te punch, I think it wasnt intentional though, I saw the replay from a different angle and it didnt landed as flush as it looks, and Dirrel did some acting in that scene. He look at AA, then he loook at te ref and te laid down. He was getting tag hard in those rounds and he found a way out of the fight. Simple as that!
Even if it was an act wich I doubt he was smart for doind the act second I had him wining every round.Your dumb if you think AA would of eventually Knocked him out.
