Who were Kessler/Froch/AA fighting in their 20th fight

Kessler in his 20th fight fought Miguel Julio who was 32-4-1
Froch in his 20th fight fought Tony Dodson who was 20-3-1
AA in his 20th fight fought Shannan Taylor who was 42-4-2

In their 20th fight, Ward/Dirrell have fought Kessler/Froch/AA and handled all three easily while green. These guys are still inexperience yet are clowning on these guys without a problem.

I agree. But then again I still think these fights would be much better down the line. Ward and Dirrell still have a lot to learn. Those wild punches Ward throws is going to backfire one of these days, and Dirrell's sloppy footwork under pressure is going to cause him to get knocked down and nobody will know that he really slipped.

Nobody is saying they're perfect but so far they've been skilled enough to show the "vets" a thing or two.

I know, but fighting guys like these so early can ruin a fighter and we'll never see how dominant they could be in the future. I mean Dirrell had never even fought for 12 rounds before the Froch fight. Once Dirrell and Ward have like 30 or maybe 35 fights on their resume, I guarantee these guys will rule the division without a doubt. Their skills have held them up in this tournament. I'm just interested to see how they would do when they have a huge problem, like being down on the score cards or getting beat in the late rounds and almost getting stopped. That's where experience usually kicks in, which they obviously don't have much of yet. Each has only been in two big fights so far.

I understand what you are saying, but you have to respect these young guys mastering their craft against the more seasoned and experienced fighters.
As good as I believe Dirrell is,I also have been saying that I believe he is in this sort of event maybe a year too soon.Saying this,he beat Abraham and I feel he beat Froch.I just think he would be that much better with gradually facing tougher competition instead of throwing him to the lions.
At least he will have plenty of time until he faces Andre Ward...he should take an easy stay busy fight.I am just glad he didn't suffer a career damaging injury....
What some people are forgetting is that Ward and Dirrell were major underdogs (while Froch, Kessler, Abraham were the best European offerings) when this tournament started-it is in greatness that they have overcome their own adversities...

Neither Kessler or Froch had anywhere near the amatuer background either of these 'green,' going on six year veterans have.
