There should be no more home town fights in the supersix.

I see nothing "home town" about what happened last night. People are just bitching because they either wanted Abraham to win or Dirrell to lose.

How about the commission cleaning and treating Abraham's cut mid round? It was just overall a weird fight. I've always disliked Lawrence Cole, but even I see where he was coming from with not calling the kd. It should be a kd, but he did trip (as did AA earlier int he fight with another no call kd).

The problem here is, like the Guzman fight, there's a hole in the system where a boxer can take advantage of it. If you get hit while you're down, and act like you were shot, then there's nothing the ref can do.

The issue is, showtime is not the promtoer, where as I believ Gary Shaw was here in the US etc...

Every promotional company will try their best to get their fighter to win. This is what corrupts our sport, nationality and promoters can win or lose a fight over what a fighter does

I agree. The home town fights are obviously a huge advantage. The American fights should be in a location like New York or LA, instead of their home state. Any European fights should also be in popular locations rather than hometowns. Where did Tim Bradley and Junior Witter fight? That seems to be a very fair place.

And they really need some refs with a decent IQ.

I had Dirrell winning before the fight, and new if he changed a few things since Froch, his style would be too much. However bully has a point.
