With all the controversy over the late punch I think that something is being missed: It's time to stop printing those ****** fucking advertisements on the ring canvases. They put the fighters at risk of injury because they make for a slippy surface when water is splashed on them. Regular canvas means no slipping and no slip would mean no illegal punch and no DQ.
Stop the ads

there's no reason they can't be imposed on the screen the way in NFL they have the "1st &10" and the logos and what not....

Also remove the turnbuckles as well. We don't want another European bum running head first into it again

It's also their style and boots. Dirrell dropped how amny times VS Froch aswell?
That **** disrupts the fight everytime theres a break. Some fighters surely have the advantage off the break while others need time to build up their attack.Comment

Dirrell genuinely slipped twice, but he also fell over to avoid punches another three or four times. Which is an improvement to the ten times against Froch. He falls over to gain an advantage and needs to stop.
If Dirrell had hit the deck on purpose to avoid punches and Abraham punched him while he was down would that be cheating?Comment
