    Torn between Gatti and Mayweather.

It'll be an entertaining fight. Gatti or Mayweather fans, this is THEEE fight to see.

I can't decide who I want to win. I like both fighters. My heart wants the underdog, Gatti, to win. But I love the sweet science of boxing that Mayweather brings to this brutal sport and I also want him to win. Gatti, since switching trainers has become a student of sweet science. You can see the difference between the first Ward fight and the second. Gatti used to get hit as easy as the side of a barn. But since then, he's become an elusive target much like his rival, Floyd Mayweather.

Purists like me enjoyed the chess match between Spinks vs Judah. Both are slick fighters. Both accurate with their punches. It was like watching kung fu. Many swings, many misses. I enjoyed the Marquez vs Polo fight as well. You have to appreciate the technical abilities of Marquez, James Toney, Hopkins, Winky, Spinks and of course Mayweather. None of these fighters HAVE to gamble their chins. They can beat you when you attack. They can hit you when you don't. It's mesmerizing.

As a fan of the sport, this is a great event. So stop with all the hating of Gatti fans and Mayweather fans. Both are great fighters. What fighters do and say outside of the ring is not boxing so don't even use that as a reason to hate one fighter. Coz once that bell rings, it's their boxing abilities that do all the talking.

As for the fight, my un-biased and objective opinion gives the nod to Mayweather. He's the faster of the two, he's got better foot work, better balance, excellent stamina. Because he's been able to outwork and outpunch his opponents, he has never been tested in deep waters like Gatti has when he was a brawler. We all know Gatti has heart and determination. But he's still student of the sweet science while Mayweather is the professor. Mayweather's been fighting this style all his life. He can beat bigger stronger guys with his superior abilities.

X factor goes to Gatti's big puncher's chance. He has power in both fists and one shot could turn the table. I see Gatti trailing the fight and will have to win by KO.

Another X factor - CUTS! Gatti gets cut easily. Fight could be stopped on that alone or definitely affect Gatti's performance.

I'd like the winner to be Gatti, but I think it's a pretty safe bet to put your money on Mayweather.

Despite his arrogance about this fight I'd still like to see Mayweather win. Like you said, techincally he is far superior and I like to see that sort of thing rewarded. Gatti has improved his technique, but it still looks like it's sort of artifically pasted onto a natural brawler.

Really I think that Mayweather is gonna turn up and run for 12 rounds and win a UD... I don't think this fight will be a particulary exciting fight.

I think that Ricky Hatton stands more chance of beating Kostya Tszyu than Gatti has of keeping his belts up against Mayweather.

That's not because I think Mayweather is THAT GOOD! It's more that I think Gatti ISN'T THAT GOOD!
